Using the app
Hot Range is a training timer. You may use it for personal and coaching purposes. It is not a certified match timer and must not be the sole timing device for sanctioned competition scoring.
Safety
Firearms training carries risk. You are responsible for following the fundamental firearm safety rules, your range's rules and the commands of range officers, and all applicable laws. For dry fire, unload your firearm, remove all ammunition from the room, and verify twice. The app's beeps and par times are training aids; never let a timer push you past safe gun handling.
Accuracy
Shot detection depends on your phone's microphone, its placement, hearing protection, and range acoustics. Hot Range may miss shots or count other sounds. Times are provided as is, without warranty of accuracy.
Hot Range Pro subscriptions
- Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, and where offered, a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before), the subscription starts and you are charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price until cancelled. You can cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (or App Store → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies.
- Everything in the free tier remains free and is not reduced if Pro lapses. Your data is never deleted because a subscription ends.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Neon Frenchie is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss arising from firearms use, in connection with the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
